Keep in mind that these sunshades are designed to be larger than your windshield so they can reach car visors for added support. It may seem too wide but you can adjust the width of the shade by overlapping the shades.
That way it will be high enough to reach the sun visors while having an adjustable width to cover the entire windshield. Try this trick before considering it the “wrong size”
Additionally, You can place the panels horizontal or vertical based on the height of your windshield.

Installation Guide
Open the sunshade at arm’s length (Be mindful of the spring effect) Put the shade against the windshield with the silver side facing outside overlap the shades as needed to cover the entire windshield.
Flip the sun visors down and position against the sunshade for added support
Fold And Store
Put the sunshades together, positioning the rings back to back and hold both sides of the shade.
Twist and move your hands slowly towards each other.
It will pretty much fold itself.
Use the strap to secure the folded shade & place the in the provided travel pouch for storage.
